This trip was fantastic day out from Kununurra, we were picked up in town and had a great tour of the Ord River agriculture areas prior too morning tea at a local cafe that sold the most delicious mango smoothies. Always a great tour if the food is good and that happened with lunch 2 hours later, on the banks of the lower Ord river. Great Kebabs and sausages, salads and bread. Ummmm!!!. Well off to the river in a small 16 seat boat looking for crocodiles. We saw over 100, just lying about the river lazing in the sun catching a few rays and looking for silly tourists who may want to try a swim. The trip up the river went as far as we could, which is still 20km from Kununurra. The biggest croc' we saw was 5.5 metres, take a look at the photos. Great Day!!! Finally post afternoon tea went in another direction and saw one of the moments of the movie 'Australia' where the aboriginal was standing on the mountain behing 'Faraway Downs' looking to the horizon, they have it all in the Kimberley!
