As I sit here writing, the last cyclone warning at 1200hrs stated that the eye of the cyclone was missing us by 300km (I hope) We made a quick tour of the town to catch the last photo opportunities in case they are blown away over the next few days. The animals and us are all getting ready to hang on for the big blow. We had a few showers last weekend but it ain't going to be anything like the possibility of what's coming in the next few days
Just a little note of the hospital as you can see PH hospital is in desperate need of the new hospital that is being built over in South Hedland. I can only show the outside, they are demountable built in the 70's and then covered with a matching roof later. The buildings have withstood many a cyclone but I know they are well past their use by date.
