Well this was the start of the first break after 3 months and it had begun to pour like hell the night before and we thought that twe would not get out ....but at 4AM off we took it was out at any cost

After 4 hours we were at the Olgas and the beginning of the bitumin and at least no one couls stop us now. There were a few really bad parts that were a bit boggy and you had to work your way around them, but onward we went
This wonderful view of the Olgas as you were just getting to the tar, and stll 50km to 'The Rock' arriving at the alice springs after a 10hour drive a little stiff and needed a bit of a walk. Well we had to clean the car with a high pressure hose and that took an hour and we eventually crashed into bed ,....exhausted!!!!!
