Our stay in Berlin was mainly in the old east side and the hostel -Wombat's was the best value for money. Every night we started happy hour on the roof top and and 2 hours later very well primed we toddled out for a meal - not needing anymore alcohol as were already to the limit -just great food, lots of water and then bed.
Absolutely amazing standing in front of the Brandenburg Gate having seen 20 years ago the fall of the Berlin wall and now standing in front of it . Our tripping around town included a local train trip to the 1936 Olympic Stadium that was still standing post war and now refurbished as a soccer stadium an awesome venue to be standing in.
