What more can I say apart from the photos, it was lovely to stay in the 'old town' part of Warsaw and everywhere we went the were posters of John Paul 2 .
No wonder really, this is his home town, and the locals are extremely proud of the legacy that he created
Walking through the old town on a rather hot day called for many stops and drinks, but it was a welcomed change to the previous 3 weeks. We had a beautiful time in Warsaw except the only down side was the accommodation where Rob and I had to move every night as their idea of a 2 bed flat was different to ours, but all was sweet in the end and we left Warsaw all the more happy for visiting it.
The buildings were something to behold and we were always mesmerised by what we saw and could never do justice with the camera
It certainly puts our history into perspective
