As we left Sweden following a lovely summer day it was just like a postcard, and as we walked along the promenade the sun warming our frozen wee bodies it was time to strip down a couple of layers, now that is three layers and not five layers
Time now for the day train to Oslo and having a relaxing time watching the fields go by.
This was what we saw, not too much green but a lot of snow it was everywhere, and the lake was still completely frozen, but I suppose it would be great to jump into following your sauna, Yeah right, some of the fields were becoming less frozen but still scorched from the snow, and no feed yet for the stock which was still in sheds where it stayed all winter
This is the style of some of the country cottages of the farmers very bland and with very steep roof lines. Does not seem to be that warm with wood exterior but bricks are not a common sight for homes
As you can see the snow has melted here in a little village but not the lakes
