Norseman Gateway to the Nullabor

Work in this wee hospital began on the 12th March and is finishing this week after 8 weeks...........the work was a shared between ED and general. The best sights around and in the area are Esperance and Kalgoorlie, both places that we have been to before, but when you live in Norseman, they still are OK places to visit.

The old hospital is a local icon and about 1 km directly west of town, sitting in the bush all alone, desperately in need of some money from the Royalties for the Regions..........but I do not see that coming to quick to Norseman

This is the big 'hole' in Kalgoorlie better known as the super pit originally conceived by Alan Bond of Americas Cup fame both of which have long past their fame but not necessary their fortune

Here are some of the wild horses that frequent the road between Norseman and Esperance, another good reason not to drive at night.

Do not think they have seen a person on their backs in a long time if ever.....................
